Lyman Lures is proud to be part of a great event coming up – The Armed Forces Salmon Assault!
On May 16 2020 The Muskegon Charter Boat Association proudly presents the 9th annual Charity Veterans Fishing Event.
Serving your country is one of the Highest and most noble things a man or woman can commit to. As you all know a great majority of these Veterans come home to face challenges like PTSD, depression, lack of resources and community support among others situations. It’s getting better as more awareness comes about, but there is always more work to be done. No one should have to suffer when they have given so much for other to enjoy freedom.
The Muskegon Charter Boat association members every year kindly donate their own time and resources to put on a great event that allows for some vets to hit the water and enjoy a day of freedom for themselves like fishing and getting connected. I’m sure you agree this is a very very good thing.
Lyman Lures is always willing to step up to support great causes where we can. We reached out to veteran and fellow Sportsman David Winsemuis and he said he said he knew of a great event, The Armed Forces Salmon Assault, and introduced us to Capt Chas of the MCBA.
So…on Feb 14 -21 we will be having an Online Sale – we will be offering a few different packages at discounts and we have made a specialty US Patriot lure that we will have for sale and we are happily donating $2.00 from every sale of this lure to this Veterans Fishing event. We are hoping to raise some good funds to present to this organization.
All of the proceeds will benefit the Michigan Veterans in the local area with this event. We hope that you join the sale during this week and pick up some of our new US Patriot lures, and in turn you can help these great men and women enjoy a day filled with fun, food, friendships and some good fishing.
Thank you from Lyman Lures and the Muskegon Charter Boat association.
