Skaha Lake
Located in the southern Okanagan between Okanagan Falls and Penticton is very popular with swimmers, sunbathers and windsurfers. Skaha with its beautiful sandy beaches is a tourist mecca and an excellent family lake. There's easy access off Highway 97 that follows the west side of Skaha. Lakeside Road is a paved alternative to Highway 97 and skirts the east side of the lake.Skaha Lake is better known for water sports than fishing. Trolling for kokanee and rainbow trout can produce good results with occasional catches in the 4kg to 5kg range. Spincasting in the shallow bays might result in catching smallmouth bass, burbot and carp
